Rafaella green tea 100g Bio-Flavo
Rafaella green tea is based on Chinese Sencha tea. Its composition includes pieces of pineapple, freeze-dried strawberries and currants, mallow flower, aroma. The infusions are clearly fruity, refreshing, pleasant in taste, light. It should be brewed in 65-80 °C water for 2-3 minutes, using a teaspoon of dried herbs per glass of water.

Beneficial effects of green tea
Tea leaves contain many nutrients, but above all theine (a form of caffeine), which has a stimulating effect, i.e. accelerates heart rate, increases metabolic rate, improves concentration, reflexes reduces drowsiness, improves mood. Tea prevents tooth decay (fluorine content), heart and circulatory system diseases, atherosclerosis, and the development of glaucoma. It also has diuretic properties.
Nutrients hidden in green tea leaves
Rafaella tea leaf drink has many valuable properties. It contains many biologically active compounds and nutrients, such as purine alkaloids (theine being a form of caffeine), amino acids, lipids, some vitamins such as C, A, E, K, and B group. There are also macroelements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, manganese, iron and some trace elements such as selenium or fluorine. But above all, phenolic compounds (polyphenols) are important, and most of them are life-giving catechins, which are strong antioxidants.
Polyphenols and their wonderful properties
Polyphenols include:
- Phenylcarboxylic acids
- gallic acid - has an antioxidant effect
- Flavonols;
- diastolic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-fungal kaempferol
- quercetin with anti-inflammatory, anti-atherosclerotic, anti-thrombotic and anti-allergic properties
- myricetin with anticancer and antiatherosclerotic properties
- Flavanols:
- catechins, e.g. epicatechins, epicatechin gallate, but epigallocatechin gallate is the most abundant, which is a much stronger antioxidant than vitamins C and E - they have the same effect as mentioned above, but they also reduce the level of LDL cholesterol, have anti-mutagenic properties, lower blood pressure, help fight obesity, prevent cardiovascular diseases, help fight diabetes, and accelerate fat burning.
Use of tea in the kitchen and more
Rafaella green tea is brewed at 65-75 °C for 3-5 minutes, using 1-2g of dried material per cup. The infusion has stimulating and refreshing properties.
