Dried goji berries 500g Targroch
Dried goji berries come from the wolfberry plant (Lycium barbarum), which grows wild in Tibet. They are a real "vitamin bomb" because they contain as many as 19 amino acids, a lot of vitamins, minerals (as many as 21) and wonderful polyphenols. Therefore, they are included in the Superfood group.

Chemical ingredients and properties of goji berries
Goji berries contain a huge amount of simple sugars (e.g. arabinose, glucose, galactose), which occur as polysaccharides. This so-called the polysaccharide complex has a strong anti-cancer effect, causing apoptosis of cancer cells, e.g. prostate, stomach, lung, leukemia or breast. It also supports the fight against diabetes by lowering the level of glucose in the blood. It leads to the reduction of too high levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, supports the proper functioning of the heart and circulatory system. Regular consumption of goji berries activates antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, catalase, or glutathione), especially in the kidneys, liver, and lungs. And hence, in China, goji berries are used to detoxify the liver. In turn, large amounts of carotenoids (mostly zeaxanthin, β-carotene, lutein) prevent eye diseases such as macular degeneration and protect against the harmful effects of UV radiation. B vitamins (B1, B2) support the nervous system and better brain function, and vitamin C, which is a strong antioxidant, has anti-cancer properties. They also have a lot of potassium, phosphorus, sodium, calcium, iron and selenium. They also contain a lot of organic acids, such as malic or citric.
A large amount of such valuable substances for the body leads to an increase in testosterone levels in men and an improvement in semen quality. Regular consumption of goji berries improves sleep, concentration, physical performance of the body, puts you in a good mood and brings calmness.
Contraindications to eating goji berries are pregnancy, blood clotting problems, or taking medications for various other chronic diseases.
It is safe to eat 5-15g of dried blueberries per day.
