Dried cistus (Cistus) is a plant from the Mediterranean. It grows wild in southern Europe and Asia Minor. There are many species of rockrose, but Cistus incanus is the most widely cultivated. Its leaves are the most valuable.

Infusions from Cistus show e.g. following action:

Use of dried cistus
Pour a teaspoon of dried leaves in a glass of boiling water and infuse for about 10 minutes.
