Black peppercorns 100g Mr Cook
Pepper grains are the seeds of the climbing plant Piper nigrum. It is obtained by fermenting the collected immature seeds, thanks to which they acquire a black color. It is the most spicy and at the same time aromatic form of pepper. It owes its spicy taste to the presence of piperine alkaloid. There is also a lot of aromatic pepper oil in peppercorns.

Health benefits of black pepper
Piperine has slimming properties because it accelerates fat burning. And this is because it causes increased secretion of digestive juices. Piperine also has a diuretic and detoxifying effect and increases the body's immunity. It is also a strong antioxidant, so it has anti-cancer properties.
