Mr Cook minced chilli 100g
Ground chilli is a product obtained by grinding dried fruits of hot pepper (Capsicum). Chilli peppers have a very pungent taste due to the presence of the alkaloid capsaicin, which is irritating to the skin and mucous membranes. Capsaicin increases appetite and improves digestion by stimulating the secretion of gastric juices. A special Scoville scale was created to measure the hotness of chilli peppers, and so, for example, sweet pepper has a level of 0, but jalapeno peppers have 2500 - 4000 units and habaneros even 200,000. up to 500 thousand units!

Chilli pepper ingredients and properties
In ground chili pepper there is vitamin A (in the form of lutein, zeaxanthin, lycopene, beta-carotene) with strong antioxidant, anticancer, antibacterial, antiviral properties (also in relation to flu and colds). Lutein and zeaxanthin support the eyeballs and improve vision, while lycopene has a preventive effect on the cardiovascular system. We will also find some amounts of vitamin C in chilli with antioxidant, anti-aging and immune properties. There are a lot of B vitamins, especially B3, B6 and B9, which support the nervous system and the proper functioning of the brain.
The presence of capsaicin helps with inflammation, diabetes problems, maintaining proper cholesterol and triglyceride levels (it dilates blood vessels), prevents platelet aggregation, and prevents heart attacks and strokes. Capsaicin will help in the fight against stomach ulcers (it kills Helicobacter pylori) and other stomach and intestinal problems. It has been found that capsaicin helps in better fat burning, accelerates metabolism and energy consumption, and thus supports weight loss. Capsaicin also works well in migraine situations in women. Experiments have shown that a diet rich in chilli peppers (Mexico, Hungary, India) significantly reduces the incidence of cancer (e.g. of the pancreas).
The most minerals are potassium, which is helpful in maintaining proper blood pressure, a lot of valuable magnesium (production of DNA and RNA), iron (anemia), manganese.
