Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) 500g Targroch
Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is a very valuable food ingredient. Without its presence in the diet, our body is threatened with serious consequences. The right level of this ingredient in the daily diet makes the body more resistant to many diseases. It is present in numerous fresh vegetables and fruits, of which it is the best absorbed. This is due to the presence of plant polyphenols in them that support its assimilation. It undergoes rapid destruction under the influence of high temperature, air and light. It has been noticed that in combination with some flavonoids (e.g. rutin), the process of vitamin C breakdown is slowed down. It is recommended to consume about 1 mg of vitamin C per kilogram of body weight, although some researchers suggest much higher doses of several hundred mg per person per day. We should take care of its daily consumption because the human body cannot synthesize it like plants and animals.
However, especially men with kidney problems should not exaggerate the amount of ascorbic acid they consume to avoid developing kidney stones.
Remember: the right amount of vitamin C every day is an excellent protective barrier for our body!
An interesting fact: vitamin C or L-ascorbic acid is not "left-handed" as some say because it only has a hydroxyl group on the left side of the molecule (as opposed to D-ascorbic acid, which is not absorbed by humans). On the other hand, L-ascorbic acid is ... right-handed because polarized light falling on its particle turns right.

Vitamin C has long been used in cosmetics for the production of various brightening creams, strengthening the skin, as a component of peelings that eliminate, for example, stretch marks. It is also a component of the serum to improve the appearance of the skin and rejuvenate it.
