Yunnan Green Superior Premium tea is obtained from the Camellia sinensis var. sinensis. It is a high-quality, valuable classic Chinese tea, which after brewing gives a fresh, light, bitter infusion that is pleasant to the palate. It can be brewed 2-3 times for 2-5 minutes at a temperature of 65-75 °C °C.

The beneficial effect of drinking green tea for the body

Tea leaves contain many nutrients, but above all theine (a form of caffeine), which has a stimulating effect, i.e. accelerates heart rate, increases metabolic rate, improves concentration, reflexes reduces drowsiness, improves mood. Tea prevents tooth decay (fluorine content), heart and circulatory system diseases, atherosclerosis, and the development of glaucoma. It also has diuretic properties.

Substances hidden in Yunnan Superior Premium green tea leaves

Tea leaf drink has many valuable properties. It contains many biologically active compounds and nutrients, such as purine alkaloids (theine being a form of caffeine), amino acids, lipids, some vitamins such as C, A, E, K, and B group. There are also macroelements such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, aluminum, manganese, iron and some trace elements such as selenium or fluorine. But above all, phenolic compounds (polyphenols) are important, and most of them are life-giving catechins, which are strong antioxidants.

Polyphenols and their wonderful properties

Polyphenols include:

1. Phenylcarboxylic acids:   

- gallic acid, which has an antioxidant effect

2. Flavonols;

- kaempferol with diastolic, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-fungal properties

  - quercetin  with anti-inflammatory, anti-atherosclerotic, anti-thrombotic, anti-allergic properties

- myricetin with anticancer and antiatherosclerotic properties

3. Flavanols (of which there are even 30-40% in dry matter):

- catechins, e.g. epicatechins, epicatechin gallate, but epigallocatechin gallate is the most abundant, which is a much stronger antioxidant than vitamins C and E - they have the same effect as mentioned above, but they also reduce the level of LDL cholesterol, have anti-mutagenic properties, lower blood pressure, help fight obesity, prevent cardiovascular diseases, help fight diabetes, and accelerate fat burning.

Use of tea in the kitchen and more

Chinese green tea is usually brewed in Europe at a temperature of 65-80 °C for 2-4 minutes using about 1g of dried material per 100ml of water. Yunnan Superior Premium tea can be brewed several times. The first infusion has stimulating and refreshing properties, while the next ones are calming and relaxing. Some recommend that the first infusion should be discarded, as it may contain a lot of impurities. In the Far East, green tea is brewed briefly, within 30 seconds, but using 3-5 g of dried material per 100 ml of water. The next brewing is extended by 10 seconds and brewed 3-5 times. Green tea is commonly used in cosmetology for the production of lotions, creams, tonics and even perfumes. Tea oil is used in the production of antifungal agents, e.g. to fight nail mycosis.
